Yesterday we visit old Walpack in Sussex County, New Jersey. There are just a few house, a church, a school and assorted relics leftover. The village and and surrounding township were taken over by eminent domain by the US government to built the Tocks Island dam. The plan was abandoned years later and the whole area became a sad looking wasteland.
